Hectic working week...thought I can squeeze in one interval and one 10km at Running lab....I was wrong...workload suddenly rocketed high due to some unreasonable timeline set by customer......worked till 9+++pm everyday and reached home near to 11pm..........hopefully, tomolo is the last day of OT.......I refused to come back to work on weekend
woke up at 3.30am!! supposed to meet up with S and CM and share cab...in the end, only me and CM and lucky last min, CM's dad agreed to drive us down! thanks uncle!!!....this year fitness not enough so i decided to take do a slow one...last longest run is 17km and i never ran more than 2hrs for last few months......I decided to use my Adizero again this time:

insaned me!! trying to add more challenge to this year slow run....plus i cannot trust the bag deposit system there....so i decided to run with my water bag with my change of clothes....filled up only abt 1.5L of water...so load is abt 2kg...took only any apple in the morning. Tried to plot the route with mapmyrun and is quite accurate....
Official route:
Supposed to meet up with WS and run/walk together...but no fate...saw so many safra runners but not WS......have to queue up for the long queue at the toilet under the esplanade bridge before the start...it was a big crowd as usual......took me 3 and a half minute to hit the startline after the flag off........i have been doing 8min run, 2min walk all this while...but was crazy enough to try doing 2km run/ 2min walk........got 2 distance marker a bit too short(6-7km, 15-16km)...if you see my timing from the table below..............met sotong and roonz strolling along the way, ah bee was running fast and cut me...met also james before sheares bridge........went for a pee at east coast park just before the 14km mark....i was able to maintain my run for every 2km until after 18km...... decided to keep it slow instead of pushing towards the end.......took 2min walk at every distance marker.....hit 20km and met james again...walked with him for 400m before w run to the finishing line.....

although not very impressive timing (my longest 21km) but with my extra load...it was an achievement for me this time.....preparing for all the aching and pains for the next few days

Supposed to wake up at 6am and do an early run...but lazy me woke up at 7am in the end....lucky weather is good today...cloudy and cool...so din kena sun........planned to do a long run with my hydration bag.....is a bit overdo consider my current fitness level.......
decided to start with slopes as per AHM route.....so i went towards buangkok....turned back to fernvale and head north....met 2 big groups of roadies charging past me.....maintaining my 8/2 run/walk well......it was a cool morning so body is feeling quite good.........after looping at punggol and back to sengkang towards hougang......hit the first junction at punggol park and got to wait for long traffic lights....hate to run in Hougang....run less than 3min will have to stop at traffic junctions...so no need run/walk liao........managed to finish 17.5km in 1hr 55min.....hmmmm...1.5km longest than last week at ECP but took the same time with more load on my bag........took out my water bag which i filled with 1.5l of water and found myself drinking only about 200ml for the whole run....

Best debut in Runners' world review................We Say: The new Sinister features a full-length plastic plate in the midsole that provides a smooth transition from heel-strike to toe-off. This design helps move you through the gait cycle more quickly for a more efficient toe-off. The plate and the durable carbon-rubber outsole makes the shoe firm, but the Sinister is not as stiff as you would expect, according to RW Shoe Lab tests. We recommend the Sinister as a racing shoe or trainer for efficient, average-weight runners........................
Wear-testers Say: "Just enough cushioning for long runs but not so much that it added weight or bulk." --Cristen Miller, 24, Allentown.......................
"The best tempo shoe I've ever worn." --Jose Brown, 50, East Lansing

The usual Rush hour jokes from carter and inspector Lee.....this time...Jackie's action seems to be less dangerous....really wonder how they shoot the fight at the E tower part...is it a fake props setup?......Watch the trailer and realise there is one part which is censored:
When carter enter the backstage full of ladies and said: I am bubble, the new custume designer..."Please take off all your clothes"....the quoted part did not show up........although i can guess the bad guy from the start....it is a very enjoyable shows...and full of laughter and joy.......a shows worth to watch...especially if you have watched part 1 and 2....catch the NG part at the end of the shows when the credits are running......

Owned pple $$$...so i decided to go down to RL for a run...quite a crowd today...try my brasilian chiba pro today with my cotton toes shoes.....everyone only notice my bright shoes.....IMD commented, u come down...so many gers came....i guess i should come more often..hahahaaa.....maybe come at wrong time....it was fort canning....did a LSD last nite so i decided just to do the fort canning part and head to the finishing line...........Mr T suddenly called me....intro Mr P's tudi to me...ask me to run with her and make sure she dun get lost in the hill....she told me she still not recovered fully from flu and din run for 1 week.....er...i just restarted running last week after 6 weeks of slack....so i doubt i can follow her pace (Mr P talented spotted on must be very good).............so we went and chitchat a bit....quite a fast pace for me....still struggling to catch up..we followed these 2 fellow who dunnoe the way well so everyone slow down also.........got out of fort canning and over the bridge....decided to run with her until daimaru riverside before i head back...flat road and cannot get lost..so everyone pick up speed...i was getting weaker.....let her chase the 2 guys in front while i struggled my way back to the finishing point.........ran for 29:50min....not a bad one consider i had a long one the day before....running with chipro is definitely easier than my adizero (both happened to be 3 stripes).......but then....................................................................................................i still did not achieve my objective: I still owned pple &&&&

It was a long day work and i stayed in office about an hour longer than usual....dashed 200m with my lousy leather working shoes to chase after my bus...it was a hard run.........i was feeling more and more tired as i got onto the bus, change to MRT and walked 20min home....The idea of just head for dinner and go home to sleep got stronger.........reached home finally and decided to compensate what I failed to do this morning......i woek up at 6.30am but went back to sleep....still cannot have the determination to wear my shoes and go for a run in the morning....

it was a quick change after i reached home before i head out......when fitness is low, options are limited...i really dunnoe where to run compared to the past where i can roam to AMK, Yishun, Pasir Ris, and even Changi........i just head towards IMH again..........hit the main entrance and decide to just run along Hougang Ave 4....it is amazing how many traffic lights there are along this road and i got to stopped at everyone of them....about 5-10min are wasted along this road just for traffic lights.....can do intervals here....only managed to run for quite a while uninterrupted along upper serangoon road.........heading back towards sengkang......hit rivervale and run along the LRT track to reach compassvale across the Koufu......took 53:55min for this run which is only 7.8km.....traffic lights wait were many so my actual run time might be 10min less......and this is considered a LSD for me at this moment....
