The Tian Tan Buddha is situated at the top of a small hill. Visitors can climb 240 stairs to reach it. At the foot of the buddha, remember to buy the vegeterian meal voucher so that at the inside of the Big Buddha, the voucher can be used to access to the internal hall and also up the lotus seat to see better view of the surrounding.
After climbing down from the Big Buddha, get to the restaurant in the Po Lin Monastery with the meal voucher to get a fulfilling vegetarian meal. Walk around the Po Lin Monastery and proceed back to Ngong Ping Village Bus terminal to take NLB Bus 21to Tai O. The journey takes about 20min.
